So first I have to say how awesome it was to hear and see pictures from Ben’s baptism! Holy cow I miss my family! You are all perfect and I wish I could have been there. I definitely miss my Benjamin and I am so proud of the decision you made to be baptized! Now more than ever I have realized just how important and sacred Baptism is. And necessary it is too!

So this week was really good! On Thursday we had a zone conference with Elder Johnson, the area president for Mexico, and member of the 70. He is super awesome and we all learned a bunch! We also had another meeting with all of the members of each ward´s Ward Council and Elder Johnson told us that the Campeche Stake is the biggest in all of Mexico, and that for every 10 members, only 1 is active… He went on to tell us how we work is going to change and that we need to focus on Less Active members, and when we teach, we teach to find new investigators. He said something awesome about the work of salvation. We read in Moses 1:39 that the work and glory of god is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. Another name for this is the work of salvation. EVERYTHING He does is to further this cause. And our purpose as missionaries is to invite all to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism by immersion, receiving the gift of the holy ghost, and enduring to the end. There isn’t a difference between His purpose, and our purpose. I just loved that and I love being a part of, and being able to see how the Lord is changing and improving His work, specifically the missionary work.

I absolutely love my mission. It is tough, the days are long, people here speak spanish, people don’t want to talk to us… BUT I know why I am here. I love what Moroni says in the Book of Mormon, ¨I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I have been called of Him to declare His word among His people, that they might have everlasting life.¨ I LOVE THE BOOK OF MORMON! IT IS TRUE!

I want to finish with a quote from David O. Mckay, The purpose of the gospel is to make bad men good, and good men better, and to change human nature. I Love this because I love my calling as a missionary and being engaged in this process both for myself and helping everybody else!

I am sorry that this letter was only spiritual stuff! haha But I hope you like the pictures! One is of This giant thing of bread that a member gave us, and others of this pretty view we have in our area. The elder in those pictures with me isn’t my companion, we were doing divisions that day! Just so you know!

I absolutely loved the pictures Court sent me! AHH MY FAMILY IS PERFECT!!! Especially Avery! Oh my gosh she is so big! Everybody looks so good! I honestly love you all more than I thought I ever could have. I look forward to talking to you more next week! Have a good week!!!
