Saludossss!

Hola familia! This week was a pretty good one! First of all, we had transfers today but Elder Anaya and I are both staying together in Caucel! Our zone had a couple of transfers so we have been here in Centro all day and in a little bit we are going to go show some of the new elders that are just getting here to the mission around Merida! haha

It was a pretty uneventful week! We did divisions with the Elders that are in our ward in Caucel, but they work in a different area. They work in the “Caucel Pueblo”. Our area is basically just a suburb haha, but crossing into their area it turns into a pueblo! Like where its not a city, like the Mexico that we all think about when we think about Mexico, or like in Nacho Libre, like that hahaha. President Garcia had met with the zone leaders this week and gave us some ideas about how to teach the Atonement and we taught that like 3 times when we did divisions with less active members and it was really awesome. We have been teaching it more like how Elder Bednar taught the Atonement in the last general conference, that the Atonement of Jesus Christ isnt just for our sins, but also for our pains, sufferings, trials and sicknesses, and that as it says in Mathew 11, we can share our load with our Savior when we make and keep sacred covenants with God. In the same way that two oxen work better than one when hauling a wagon or cart, we can invite Jesus Christ to share our load. Elder Bednar teaches that “Making and keeping sacred covenants yokes us to and with the Lord Jesus Christ.” Not a lot of people know that…

¡Buenas tardes, habla Elder Judd!

Gooooood afternoon!!! First off, happy late Fathers Day to the best Dad in the entire world!! I cant even start to describe how blessed I am to have the Father I have, because I dont know where I would be without him! I hope it was a good day!

So this was a good week! Not the best but it ended pretty good which makes up for a rocky start. We started this week doing divisions but I stayed in my area with a new Elder, Elder Ramirez and it was fun. The work was absolutely horrible though hahaha. We had just about the entire day planned out with appointments and members to come with us and I was super excited but literally EVERYTHING fell through hahaha. Oh the joys of mission life! We did end up finishing the day with a good lesson with a less active family whose son isnt a member and we are working with him to get baptized. He is basically atheist though, it has been kinda rough so far but we are working hard! And the best part was that they made us tacos afterwards 🙂 I love tacos.

Hello family and friends! Sorry I am writing so late in the day! I will explain why in just a second! This week was a pretty good one! Action-packed isn’t the word but definitely busy!

I don’t think I mentioned this but our times for District Meetings changed to Monday mornings to that is why I stopped writing in the mornings. Anyways after the last time I wrote, we played soccer Monday night which was fun as always, and then I went off with another Elder afterwards to do divisions in his area on Tuesday. I went with Elder Ruben to Canek, the area right next to ours. It was a good time! Nothing special just working! I love doing divisions because its like going through the process of getting a new companion after transfers and getting to know him, without getting to the part where you get annoyed with him because we go back to our normal companions! haha Although Elder Ruben is really cool! One of my many friends that I have made in the mission from Mesa, Arizona. (There are like 7 or 8 missionaries that went to the same high school in Mesa!)
